Psycho Sid

In honor of 26 years of NoogaDumb, I give the world my version of the Sid story....

Sid hails from the town of West Memphis, Arkansas....great props for not selling out and claiming Memphis, TN. He started his wrestling career as a man named Lord Humongous, a fitting name since Sid stands over 6-6, and over 300 pounds. After a short while Sid became known as Sid Vicious in WCW and joined the Four Horsemen. It was not long after this that he was screwed out of the WCW World Heavyweight Title when he beat a bogus Sting. Not long after this happened, he jumped ship to the WWF. You can watch some footage of Sid before this match right here...

At that time, Sid went by the name Sid Justice, and at first was a friend of Hulk Hogan. Later things changed and Sid actually helped to elimate the Hulkster in the Royal Rumble, helping Ric Flair when the title. This led to an epic battle between Sid and the Hulkster at Wrestlemania VIII. Shortly after the Hulkster won, Sid returned to WCW, where he took place in one of his most famous incidents....

In the WCW, Sid started teaming up with Vader, calling themselves the Masters of the Powerbomb. They were managed by Col. Robert Parker (imagine Col. Sanders) and they took on the team of Sting and the British Bulldog. After this program, Sid was slated to win the WCW title, but things took a tragic turn in the United Kingdom. You see, Sid started insulting Ric Flair, which made Arn Anderson mad, and a scissor fight broke out. Sid lived up to the Psycho nickname and stabbed the Enforcer over 20 times. This led to Sid being released from WCW.

As the door in WCW closed, Sid found a new opportunity in the WWF. Sid returned as Shawn Micheals's bodyguard, only to be relieved of his duties. Well, this didn't sit well with Sid, so he beat the crap out of HBK. Within the year, Sid would go on to defeat HBK for the title, only losing back at the Royal Rumble. Not to be outdone, Sid would regain the title , defeating Bret Hart on Monday Night Raw, the night after Hart won the title in a fatal four way match. That April, Sid would headline Wrestlemania 13, losing the title to the Undertaker. It was not long after this match that Sid would disappear from the wrestling world. As you continue...enjoy this hellacious chokeslam...

A few years would pass and Sid would end up in WCW once again. After compiling a large win streak, he finally lost a match to Goldberg. However, little time would pass before Sid was once again packing gold. In the span of one week, Sid won the title on two occassions. Saddly, Sid's in ring career would end in an ill-fated move of of the top rope. The moment was deemed to graphic for TV, but not for this blog...

I miss Sid...the master and the ruler of the WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let this be true....

Last night on raw, it was great to see the return of Money Inc, Roddy Piper and especially The Enforcer. They were in the corner of Ric Flair as he faced off against the Spirit Squad. I know this may be a reach, but how awesome of a Survivor Series match would that be. Please Vince, make this happen.
The only thing that I didn't get was Money Inc. I didn't really see the connection to Flair, but I was cool with it because I was a huge Money Inc. fan in the day. I wish this would all somehow lead to the return of the 4 Horsemen, but that might be too much to hope for.

For my buddy Nooga...

NoogaD's hero................from West Memphis, Arkansas...SID!!!!!!!!!!!

on the side...do you think Hogan is full of crap about what people keep asking him??

Raw Recap

Monday night was pretty entertaining...Johnny Nitro lost the IC title to Jeff Hardy, but I would rather neither of them have the title. However, the best match of the night was the steel cage match. Edge and Cena know how to throw a great match. this was a greate one because at one point it really looked like Edge was going to win. It was sad that Cena kept the belt, but I hope that these two find reasons to go at it again in the future.

2 cold's comming to WWE

Kids stay in school...and dont go to the game room....When I was younger, I remember 2 cold was awesome...but watching his wrestling moves...HE WAS AWESOME. He should have been more than tag team champion for a day with Marcus Alexander Bagwell...in honor of 2 cold coming to WWE...here is his introduction video from WCW.
